Our ESD manager's, Natasha, recent mission to Nepal was marked by a fruitful collaboration with SCLC. During her stay, she carried out various activities, strengthening our ties and working together on promising awareness-raising and education to sustainable development projects.
The trip began with an immersion in the projects in Pharping. Natasha organised a collaborative workshop to design materials for the Sustainable Development Education Weeks 2024. The focus was on education for sustainable agriculture, with a wide range of innovative ideas.
Our representative spoke with Niroj, director of SCLC, and Lalita, a former beneficiary of the projects and now coordinator of the Open School, about the organisation of the workshops during their visit and the possibilities for presenting SCLC's projects and Lalita's path.
The third day was devoted to drafting a concept for the presentation material and planning the next steps.
Finally, the mission ended with a hearty meal with the SCLC team, putting the finishing touches to these days rich in reflection. Natasha then had the opportunity to meet the partners' families, immersing herself further in Nepalese culture.
